De pre-header versterkt namelijk je onderwerpregel en draagt dus bij aan de beeldvorming over je nieuwsbrief in de inbox van de ontvanger. Veel bedrijven gebruiken de pre-header echter nog niet optimaal. In deze blog bespreek ik vijf mythes over pre-headers en vertel ik hoe je er optimaal mee om kan gaan.<\/p>\n<h2>Het nut van pre-headers<\/h2>\n<p>De pre-header is een toevoeging voor je nieuwsbrief omdat deze je in staat stelt om de ontvanger meer informatie over de nieuwsbrief te geven voordat hij hem opent. Gebruik hem als aanvulling op de onderwerpregel.<\/p>\n<h2>Pre-header in de nieuwsbrief<\/h2>\n<p>De pre-header staat helemaal bovenaan je nieuwsbrief, in dit geval: \u2018Blijf je e-mailmarketing fine-tunen\u2019.<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/preheader_v2.png\" alt=\"Voorbeeld nieuwsbrief met pre-header\" width=\"752\" height=\"777\"><\/p>\n<h2>Pre-header invullen in de applicatie<\/h2>\n<p>Als je de pre-header in de applicatie invult, klik je op de zone waar&nbsp;de pre-header moet komen en vul&nbsp;je daarna aan de rechterkant het veld in.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/preheader2.png\" alt=\"Pre-header invullen in editor\" width=\"1339\" height=\"391\"><\/p>\n<h2>5 Mythes over pre-headers<\/h2>\n<p>Er worden nogal eens wat redenen geopperd waarom de pre-header te weinig aandacht krijgt. De volgende vijf mythes over de pre-header zouden in je op kunnen komen en zal ik hierbij ontkrachten:<\/p>\n<h3>Mythe 1: &#8216;De pre-header valt niet op&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>In veel e-mail clients is de pre-header een element wat je achter de onderwerpregel in de inbox ziet staan. Aangezien je al weinig ruimte hebt om in de inbox op te vallen, is dit juist d\u00e9 plek om te benutten. De beste manier om je pre-header te benutten is door deze aanvullend te laten zijn op je onderwerpregel. Doe dat bijvoorbeeld op de volgende manier:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ph_achtergrond_2.png\" alt=\"Voorbeeld onderwerpregel en pre-header\" width=\"900\" height=\"120\"><\/p>\n<h3>Mythe 2: &#8216;Ik vergeet de pre-header vaak in te vullen&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>De pre-header is bij Hellodialog een verplicht element: je krijgt een melding wanneer je deze niet-ingevuld probeert te versturen. Dat doen we vanzelfsprekend niet om je te pesten, maar om je bewust te laten zijn van het belang ervan. Vul hier iets in dat je onderwerpregel aanvult en je boodschap naar je ontvanger toe versterkt! We laten het veld bewust leeg&nbsp;zodat je geen situatie krijgt zoals in dit voorbeeld, waarbij Grazia als pre-header heeft staan: &#8216;PRE-HEADER TEKST HIER&#8217;. Dat is natuurlijk niet de bedoeling.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/preheader3.png\" alt=\"Pre-header van Grazia\" width=\"246\" height=\"434\"><\/p>\n<h3>Mythe 3: &#8216;Er staat toch al: \u201cBekijk deze e-mail in je browser\u201d?&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>Bovenaan je nieuwsbrief staat inderdaad standaard de tekst: &#8216;Bekijk deze e-mail in je browser&#8221;. Echter, dit is niet de pre-header! De pre-header is een apart veld en deze bestaan afzonderlijk van elkaar. Bovendien voegt deze zin niks toe aan de nieuwsbrief, aangezien je dit bij iedere nieuwsbrief kunt doen. Het draagt dus niet bij aan de overtuigingskracht om iemand je nieuwsbrief te laten openen.<\/p>\n<h3>Mythe 4: &#8216;De pre-header kun je niet personaliseren&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>Je kunt in alle tekstvelden personalisatie elementen toevoegen, dus ook in de pre-header. Het is bijvoorbeeld interessant om iemand aan te spreken bij zijn of haar naam, als je dat nog niet hebt gedaan in de onderwerpregel. Daarnaast kun je alle persoonlijke kenmerken kiezen waar je over beschikt in je database.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/preheader4.png\" alt=\"Pre-header toevoegen in editor\" width=\"589\" height=\"238\"><\/p>\n<h3>Mythe 5: &#8216;De pre-header wordt niet getoond&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>In 2\/3e van de e-mail clients wordt de pre-header w\u00e9l ondersteund.
